    I agree. To be successful in recruiting you have to agressive and confident. I just think Saban is a bit overconfident and arrogant to think that LSU is only winning with all of his players and Les Miles has nothing to do with it.

    This is how recruiting goes. If you think the LSU staff isn't talking to players that are commited to other schools you are crazy.

    Considering the lousy time Bama is having with its recruiting efforts, Saban has to do something quick. Don't think it will do him any good though. He will have to wait until the 2008 class to have a successful recruiting effort.

    I agree with this, although it has served him well, (in the college ranks anyway). I just think it's silly to continue to create new threads just for the sake of Saban bashing. I hope we concentrate our efforts on bashing him on the field, and I will do my Saban bashing from the stands at BD this coming November 3rd.

    Exactly. I just cringed at the "LSU is winning only because of my recruits" nonsense.
