    Re: Bama Fans On LSU

PT, I know you're a "Good visitor" here but I find it a little distasteful for a non-LSU fan to post disparaging comments made by another team's fan base. Throw in the fact it's an Auburn fan posting comments made by Bama fans......... see where I'm coming from??

Don't worry, we'll take care of them on the field and don't think, with the latest distraction, we aren't going to take the field every bit as fired up to play Auburn too. Because he was once in our camp, we are dissapointed- disgusted- with the Bama coach's lack of character shown at times but don't ever think we forgot about our last to trips to JH buddy.

I'm sure there's nothing more Auburn fans would love than to have other fan bases hate Alabama as much as they do so they could say, "You see, it's not just us, they feel the same way too." Make no mistakes about it, LSU will be gunning for ya!

LSU is going to own the State of Alabama next year, and the talk is not going to be about how many La. recruits Saban is going to take from Miles; rather, how many Alabama recruits Miles is going to take from Saban and TT. :thumb:

Re: Tricky Nicky Saban fun audio clip

The saddest thing about all those audio clips is that they are exactly true.

Like I said, I was not mad at Nick for leaving LSU for what obviously was a better opportunity at Miami. The Bama job is a step down from head coach of the Miami Dolfins. Why did he do it? Missed college football, naw. Money, naw. He failed as head coach of the Dolfins and alienated the fans, press, and most in his organization with his egotistical ways. He failed, he had no confidence to continue the challenge, he lied, he quit. He ran out of town without addressing anyone, slunk out overnight. Just pathetic!

I thought you should know that next year will mark the first time this decade that no matter the standings, I just might have to pull for Auburn to whipe the field with 'Bama.

I'm just curious as to what the Auburn faithful have been saying about Saban?

I'm sure you've read the treads about Saban's involvment with trying hard to pursuade Phelon Jones to drop his commitment to LSU, and there have been a few others. Have there been any instances between Saban and Auburn?

Re: What an Arrogant SOB...Saban trying to get Jones to decommit

You're correct, time to quit talking about requiting...at least I'll quit, if they quit.......oh wait, then they would be requiting.

I just love how one of them mentions our "little power surge" like it's something that happened and was done in a year....I dunno....say something similar to 'Bama's #3 ranking last year (until losing to us and Auburn of course).

Oh yeah. We had a kid (OL Jared Cooper) commit to Auburn early this week. He is the Class 4A Player of the year in Alabama. bama hadn't been after him much but then Saban called him twice wanting to make an in home visit. Cooper and his Mom said no, he had commited to Auburn. Then the kid got sick and had to be admitted to the hospital. Slick Nick and an ass't went after the kid in the hospital and offered him a scholly. That's pretty desperate in my book.

You make a good point. I just wanted you to see that they aren't tolerant to opposing fans views as you guys are here. Delete it if you want.

Man...I don't EVER recall him being this despirate for recruits before. :dis: It's pretty pathetic if you ask me. And NO, it's not pathetic to attempt to recruit/talk to top players--even if they are committed to another school, but visit the kid in the HOSPITAL?! ...Being told "No" to an in-home visit...being told "No" to a request for an offiical visit to 'Bama...yet STILL going to the recruits school and being told in person, "No" again?!!! You kNOW he left pissed off....
