Re: $aban is After Joe McKnight I am an alum of JM's high school, and I'll bet my house that ain't happening. JT Curtis is NOT leaving John T. Curtis Christian School. Draw your own conclusions.
Re: $aban is After Joe McKnight As I said I needed to confirm this. People who are a little more in tune are a bit unbelieving about this also. I now understand it isn't the first time that Saban has tried to hire him, and that he is 60 years old. One of his former players at my AU site also calls BS on this rumor.
Re: $aban is After Joe McKnight Just understand how laughable it is considering what I posted earlier. And also, if he would ever go to any college program, he would've done it a long time ago. He's been DOMINANT at a 2A school for 40 years or so. This is the same 2A school that doubled up the mighty Hoover this year, 28-14. When I was in high school, from '83-'87, we lost ONE game, the State Championship in my senior year, 10-9 on a missed FG. See my point? If he were to want a college job of any kind, he would've had it a LONG time ago. It's actually his daddy's name on the sign outside the school, but it's pretty much his school.
Re: $aban is After Joe McKnight John Curtis is friends with Saban, but I don't see him leaving the school his Dad built.
Re: $aban is After Joe McKnight A guy who usually has fair info mentioned it, and I threw it out before I checked with anyone. By the time I got back from Lowes several had weighed in saying it was one of the most outlandish claims ever. Learned more about the school than needed very quickly. Check twice, post once---Check twice, post once---Check twice, post once:thumb:
Re: $aban is After Joe McKnight It's all good. Now go to the Jimbo to FSU thread and answer my question there if you don't mind. I swear I'm not picking on you, but I wanna know where you heard that one, too, because everything I've seen, heard, or read, doesn't jibe with it.
