Both Alabama and Georgia have one loss as does Florida. They earned there way to the SECCG. Why should the loser be punished by not being in a BCS bowl?
I agree Tusk. You earn your way to the SECCG you should get that BCS bowl. If you don't maybe you should settle for a Cotton Bowl instead of getting on your knees for a retry.
Why should a non winner of their conference play for the marbles? You can't have it both ways and Saban has flipped his position more than Mitt Romney.
Last year was actually a case where SEC dominance bit us in the ass, HARD! That's why I don't pull for SEC strickly based on the fact that they are SEC. Yeah, 2004 Auburn could happen, but so could 2011 LSU. In the grand scheme of things, you never know what lasting and/or future implications, possibly years down the line, you get when team X beats team Y. I pull for LSU and LSU only. The rest is just details.

With 6 sec teams in the top 10 BCS poll, and the rule is, that only 2 teams from each conference qualify, there are just not enough BCS spots open for the best and most qualified and most deserving, BCS teams. That's all coach Saban was saying, subliminally.
