    But you forgot one thing.
Your coach isn't an ex-barner coach, there lies the difference!:yelwink2:

A wild exageration. He will not return the "glory days" of bama. That would imply multiple championships, domination of the SEC, & a lack of parity in our conference. However, he will make them better & make them competitive again.

    The real question is:

This "process" will take time. Who will lose their patience first? Saban or bama?

given time, (and they have no choice) saban will turn bama into a challenger and contender for the seccg year in and year out. it's just a matter of time.

But after all of his years of "rumored leavings" and especially now, why would any of us want him back???

or at least bring them to where they can be competitive with the rest of the SEC west.

Can we get a report card from our Bama and Auburn posters on Saban?

I think he can get them back up to that level, maybe not next year but in time, but will bama fans be satisfyed with that or do they truely expect to compete at the top of the SEC?

I was being somewhat funny but I say why not?
If CLM's were to leave, If he came back I guarantee he wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon.
He has already said that it was a mistake for him leaving BR.
This is one time where I really do believe him.
Otherwise because he is a good recruiter and coach and has proven he can win at LSU unlike any other candidate if CLM's leaves.

As far as others are saying about Saben and success at Bama.
I think he will be successful and could be as successfual as LSU but I'm not going to say it will be easier.
I think its a little easier recruiting at LSU than it is at Alabama.
I find it interesting like a poster said, which is going to run out of patience first?
    Saban or the Bama nation?
