There's a thread on the Bama Mag boards suggesting that we're up to something illegal. I guess misery loves company, but I find it insulting. I believe that said that Coach Saban is too "dull" to attract players without paying them.
You have to see it from their perspective ... they have grown up in a world that pays college athletes to go to Bama. They've been doing it since the day Bryant stepped foot on their campus. They have no understanding how college football programs can legally recruit great athletes.
I think it is the parents who push their kids to go play for Saban. He promotes the growth of these kids into men, and on the way Saban promises him that he can help him make it to the next level. Saban has proven in the last fours years, he relationship with Rohan, Domnick Davis (future rookie of the year), Bradie James, "Blue" Gay, Josh Reed, and plenty others, shows recruits that he (Saban) is in it for the friendship and to play the game the way it is supposed to be played.

Insinuating something without showing proof is bs. I haven't heard anything accusatory about Saban. If I remember correctly the year he left MSU he had the number 1 class in the country coming in. Seems to me that the guy can recruit. Its just that simple.
