Little Nicky should just be thankful Miles spotted them at least 13 points by being an even poorer game manager than usual and that Chavis was apparently in the can with diarrhea the last minute and a half of the game. (BTW, if anyone can think of another explanation other than diarrhea for the prevent defense on that final drive, I'd love to hear it.)
Well if you go to And the Valley Shook, one of those writers swears it wasn't prevent d, that it was overaggressive blitzing (which it was on the last play) .... not sure what game he watched though.
The last play was an aggressive blitz but when they saw Yeldon lined up where he was they should have pulled back and stuck to him like white on rice. Everyone knew it was going to be screen to Yeldon. I haven't rewatched the game but he first play of the drive they were playing two safeties about 20 yards deep.
Oh I know, I even youtubed a link to it, broke down each play for him and he still thinks it was aggressive. I was like yes after Chavis freaked out that we let them chew up the yardage. Not sure how he is a main writer for an SB blog.

He merely used it as an example of WHAT TO DO or HOW TO RESPOND if things go south. Nothing wrong with being prepared and I have no problem with it. Miles & Co. can learn from Bush letting Saddam Hussein leave Kuwait and recognize it's important to finish the job.
