Less that 24 hours? How about 2 months. You don't understand Lord Saban lingo. The 4th edition of the "Saban to English Dictionary" has "I need 24 more hours" to be literally translated as "I'm cleaning out my desk and purging my office computer's Internet Explorer history of any porn sites".

I think it would be a GREAT thing for Bama, maybe they can get a guy that they wont have to hold their breath after the last game of the season.

If this was all just some act to get more from Miami. had he not done this 2 other times I dont think it would be that big of a deal. Hell lots of pros holdout for more money. BUT no matter what the outcome of all this NO Owner/AD will ever take him at his word.

Lets see Cower, has been at Pitt since the 80s and his last daughter is about to graduate high school in Carolina. OH yeah and he is one of the LOWEST paid coaches. And Pitt has pressured him to give them an announcement so that they dont fall to far behind Zona and ATL.

Saban Does not fulfill the contracts that he signs, or demands ASS loads of more money to even think about fulfilling those said contracts. Has been in the NFL for umm 2 years.

Don't know how much you rake in annually, but you don't need to look at it in that perspective. Nick's not making chump change now. In fact, he's making about 5 million a year for three more years. Anyway, it's not like he's going from a janitor's salary to $5,000,000/year all of a sudden.:thumb:

I really do like this post, it struck a cord with me.
The more and more this goes on the less I like Nick Saban and I hope he
never comes back to LSU if he were to take the Bama job which I know
he won't unless he is on the visitors sidelines.
I am stating this to show I like Nick less and less as an individual.

He is a hell of a football coach but a public relations nightmare.
He should hire a consulting firm before opening his mouth.
1) We are happy in BR, we aren't interested in the Miami job while at the
same time boarding a plane to meet with the Dolphins

2) I have no interest or I am not going to coach in Alabama.
Yet this is going on and I'm assuming he will be in Alabama by tomorrow this
time recruiting.

My problem isn't this guy trying to look out for himself and his family or
going after a dream job, which going from college to pros would be.
But I wouldn't consider going from pros to Bama a dream job under the
circumstances.
My problem is that he comes out denying this stuff instead of saying no comment, really makes him look bad as a member of the human race.
He can't be trusted if he goes to Bama, his word.

I hope he goes to Bama and I hope we can find a way to beat Bama.
We beat him Michigan State and we can beat him at Bama.
I don't want a coach here and says things and then does something else.
He has lost my respect when and if he leaves Miami tomorrow.
He should be royalty, Lord Saban is about right!

Me too and I gave him some green for it......I hadn't thought of that angle and there's probably a lot of truth to it. Saban has that act down to a "T".

I hope Saban goes to Bama . They deserve him ! I think it will answer a question for us as LSU fans also > Is he really the Great coach some in here think him to be or is he like I think he is . Smart , looked down and saw all the talent at LSU and took the job knowing it was a championship team in Baton Rouge > Well I hope he goes to Bama so he can prove me wrong , I would like for him to prove me wrong . I think this team LSU id better now than it would have been with him as Coach. Yes I do think he will be the next Bama Coach , Welcome home to the SEC Coach Saban, yes we do love you !! Maybe the reason Owner H was so "upbeat" when he left Saban's office is that Nickie told him he really felt bad about leaving LSU and as a neat way to make amends he would make Bama look like a bunch of morons. Not that the task would be hard to do, but anyway. maybe his intentions are to make Bama look stupid. :lol: or maybe his wife thinks Tuscaloooooser is a nice quaint lil town like BR. :dis:

it could just be that all this is because his wife put her foot down. maybe she got car jacked in little Havana in Miami? :shock:

One thing for sure, I doubt he can jump buildings or fly when he gets to Bama. I bet he looks the same as he does now.

AND he may just be as great as old Spurrier is since he came back to college, which amounts to not much to worry about. :nope: yawn.
