I'm pretty sure the official athletic site is not allowed to post anything until it's a done deal. Even though it's all but done, until he signs a contract, I don't think the official site can comment on it.

That's why you don't see any info on recruits until they have actually signed their LOI and not when they commit verbally.

 

I've been a long time lurker, but finally registered over this situation. Just had to discuss it with people who understand. I'm shocked, but not really surprised. Called back home to register my disgust with my Mama. She knew right away why I was calling only a few days speaking to everyone on New Years day...almost any call not on our regular schedule is about LSU football.

One good thing is that the media has finally remembered that we won a national champtionship back in '03. Asshats.

Jimbo already got screwed by the Alabama BOT, I don't see him going. Paul Bryant, Jr, screwed him out of the UAB job.

 

Does anyone have a video or audio of Saban's quote at Miami press conference(2004) where he say's "I am a LSU GUY!". That sure would come in handy.

 

i grew up in this state having alabama kick our ass every year... i have definately enjoyed this era.. no the sky is not falling, but makes us have to be even better...I have always believed that you are only as good as the people working for you. It is my hope that Les will not screw up this hire on the new OC not only as a offensive mind but to replace one of the best recruiters that LSU has ever had.
