Oh, yeahhhhhhhhhhhh ... think like Mike

It ends when Nick leaves ... LSU's climb to the Top in College FB will disintegrate

Nick Saban has "created" & "reinvented" LSU FB ... bringing LSU to the Top

If he stays two more years, LSU will be the UNDISPUTED #1 Premier Program in America

~T~H~I~N~K~ before you stink up the board with nonsense

Just walk around campus now ... and look what was built ... because Nick demanded it.

Just take a tour of all the new facilities ... overall best in America ... Because Nick demanded it

LSU will go on without Nick ... you're right on about that Mike

You loved going bowling in Shreveport every year ... huh, Mike ... if you even travel to see LSU play :dis:

The financial impact Nick Saban has had on LSU is tremendous ... and he deserves a share of the pie ... LSU FB was in ashes before Saban arrived

How many remember the games where attendance sucked?

Now the program is almost ready to claim Dominance and a spot as ...

THE #1 FB Program in America

I have never see more HS FB stars listing "LSU" on their schools of interest than I have this past year ...

Nick Saban gave us that ... he "demanded" the best efforts from himself, his players and he got it from his fans ... and they all delivered ...

When you gaze into the crystal Mike, WHAT DO YOU SEE?

A TAF effort to keep Nick Saban at LSU could be financed easily by a $10 Million dollar raise ... that's 100,000 donors (70% of those who make the game) giving $100 each ... that's not that much from the people

LSU could probably get 250,000 people to donate $40 each for that $10MM

How about that Mikey ... is Nick Saban worth $40 to you over the next 5 years

.............. The Bus for Shreveport just pulled up

Rich Rodriguez makes less than $1 mil. a year.
i'm sure he wouldn't mind taking $2 mil. . Jeff Tedford might consider coming here for 2 mil. He did just sign an extension though. Joe Tiller maybe.

Yes my friend, been n trips with the Tigers. Been there and done that, oh, you failed to mention what was built on campus. An upper deck on the stadium, ATHLETIC ACADEMIC building, new football practice facilities…hmm, where does that lead to academia?

Don’t get me wrong, Nick has done wonders, but you asked he deserves the piece of the pie, and then what about the players, he coaches them, their performances results in wins and losses. Are we going to start paying them for their worth (oh yes, the good old scholarship vs. a paycheck for the collegiate athlete).

I will remember what you just said while I am setting in Nashville watching the Tigers playing Vandy next year. The question is... will Nick be stalking on the sidelines or someone else? My money is someone else.

And to answer your question, yes, I believe someone will carry on the torch Nick built up…in fact I am willing to bet this coach will win the national championship. Are you going to travel to the Rose Bowl to experience it?
By the way, Oklahoma and USC would dispute LSU being the #1 program. LSU is TOP #3 in my book. ;)

You still did not answer my question, is Nick worth more than Bill Parcell. A lot seem to think he is. Do we have to bend over backwards everytime he snaps his fingers?

No argument there ... Louisiana is #1 or #2 per capita in HS FB players getting Div-1 schollies

Wake up and smell the coffee, Mike ... they flat out couldn't coach ... Archer is a lowly dee coord for Kentucky ... Curly is still a drunk without discipline and Gerry was a good guy who could recruit ... but couldn't coach

Oh, yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh ... the grass will alays be green ... now that Nick built the turf up :dis:

Mediocrity beckons ... that bus for Shreveport is still idling right now

Nobody gives a flip about your "house" on Highland BS ... build him a 3.5MM castle ... if that's what he and his wife want ... and they don't

Oil is $44 a barrell, Mike ... LA is reaping it and the rig count is going through the roof ... wildcatters are back

LA still has poor policies regarding Tax breaks (geaux bitch to Blanco and the policy makers)

Bingo, Mike ... Bingo! Because basketball has Brady and not a Nick Saban. Seems the house was nice enough when Daddy Dale was around ... taking LSU to the NCAA every year for March madness

Really Mike ... if you're gonna shovel **** in Louisiana ... you need to open a window now and then ... the fumes have gotten to you

    Still my opinion

So much money in that oil business…It is a great time to be in the state of Louisiana…how about that secondary educational system down there. Keep on not wanting to pay property taxes and not supporting the school system down there.

$2.3 million for a bus going to Orlando, come on, even people thought this was a down year for the Tigers (in my opinion, I thought Nick did wonders considering the QB situation). Others thought LSU should be trucking to a BCS Bowl game, I bet you did too!

You basically made my point about Archer, Hallman and DiNardo. Nice call!

Dude, Daddy Dale brought LSU on the map with basketball, but let’s not forgets, he tore it down quickly. Lester Earl name ring a bell? DING, DING, DING, DING. Let’s not forget, it was not his fault, it was the poor old Doctors fault for coughing up the cash for the pick-up truck. How about them surgeries Lester’s brother got on his knees?

Listen, unlike the PMAC is a mess because it is all about football. Why doe Tiger Stadium continue to get a face lift and the basketball and baseball facilities get the “lipstick on a pig” approach. I believe it when I see it with the baseball stadium being built. :eek:ldskule:

By the way, it is not the fumes from that shovel, no it is coming from north of town, it is called Exxon! Oh, the paper mill near Jackson sure doesn’t help either.

How about that house on Highland roads, I bet it is still not good enough! Got It?

Always fun to discuss, because I am bored out of my mind with this nasty weather in Kentucky, one advantage to living in Louisiana!

    Another quote by X-Con:

"He's a real b**** if the turning point for him in this decision is being "touched by the fans". I hope that isn't the turning point, but if it is...he's a b****."

X-Con you are the one who posted this on the Fins website!! You seem to be the b****!

I'm not going to say its a great time to live in Louisiana because the state has a LOT of problems, but it is a great time to be a Tiger. LSU Athletics completely supports & funds itself. It is seperate from the University and doesn't come from the same funds - thus it is completely irrelevant if LSU can't afford to pay staff, which isn't true. We just layed off tons of teachers because they weren't PhD's (thanks Emmeret) and are in the process of hiring plenty more PhD's. Louisiana's economy has nothing to do with it (unless people can't afford to go to games - which is hardly a problem) Football's profits pay for the other 23? sports we have here at LSU - the better our football program the better the rest of our programs can be.

    Saints want more to stay...
    Saban wants more to stay...

Where do we draw the line?

I'd rather fight to keep a winner that a loser!

    Both are important to Louisiana.

We need Saban!! Got It? Got It? !!!!
