  1. i guess when your team loses as many in a row to their main rivals in the SECW (take your pick, LSU, awbarn, moo u) as your team has, you look for comfort anywhere you can.....kind of like being impressed with that spring game crowd.....
  2. You've worn this shoe before.
  3. Yeah, but it still fits.:thumb:
  4. your point?
  5. My point is you're not unfamiliar with being the butt end of jokes because you're program was going through bad times. So your "jabs" at Alabama doesn't come without having a lot of experience in the same shoes yourself.
  6. my "jabs" are at those bama supporters who demonstrate a form of feigned arrogance based on past triumphs. it's kind of funny, but mostly sad to see the emperor without clothes routine being played out by some of the gumps on this board, but it's what i've come to expect.
  7. Bama fans over the years have been (and in a lot of cases continues to be) some of the most arrogant fans around. Arrogance is human nature when it comes to competitive activities and especially when you're winning big. But don't think for one second that a large part of the LSU fan base hasn't acquired it. Some of the asinine things that I've heard come out of many LSU fans' mouths (in light of y'alls recent success) has made me think that somebody stole some Bama fans and painted them purple and gold. Which is why I think it is funny that many LSU fans that bitch about Alabama being so smug and arrogant are acting out the same behavior.

When you're getting your ass kicked, you bitch about how arrogant the ass kicker is. But when you're the one kicking ass, you "walk around" like you're the bad ass, talk like you're the bad ass and don't think twice about it. To the victor goes the spoils.

  8. What's funny is that Bama fans continue to be arrogant 20 years after they stopped being relevant.
  9. Well there was that National Championship in 1992.
