    I don't really think that any of us are that surprised about Saban's exit, and I, for one, hope we don't start bashing him too much.

    I don't want to sound like the sour grapes MSU fans. Thanks, Coach Saban, for the most successful five-year span in the history of LSU football.

    Thanks for the memories and the national championship. Now, it's up to Skip Bertman to find a great successor--hopefully, someone without designs on the NFL, who can be happy being the king of Louisiana.

    Better watch out

    No, Saban didn't leave LSU "in a lurch," he left us with two conference championships and one national championship, a great talent base, and greatly improved facilities! The only other thing he left, at least for me, is a slightly bad taste in my mouth over the way the situation went down, but, I'll get over it.

    Better watch out and worry about your own situation, we may come calling on your current coach, John L. Smith!:helmet: :champs: :grin:
