LSU Chancellor Mark Emmert on Thursday confirmed Saban told him in advance he planned to have an informal talk last week with the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, but Saban said the discussions were brief and were blown out of proportion. "Sometimes when people show an interest in you, it's very flattering and you feel obligated to listen to what they have to say," Saban said. "That's what happened with the Jacksonville job. After listening to what they had to say, I told them that I was not interested and that I'm very happy at LSU and coaching college football. "Baton Rouge is my home and I declined to take the process any further." He is pissed about the 8 hour comment and said that these reports lie all the time.. I hate ESPN, Peter King is an idiot.
