Saban has won 1 at LSU and then 3 at Bama with a program that was coming off of probation. Meyer won 2 at Florida and just won 1 with an OSU team coming off of post season restrictions. Then there's CLM who has taken over a great program and under achieves consistently. I'd love to hear Leslie say I should have won 8 more championships but I don't think he believes that.
Yep, I thought that was funny. Saban was talking about Alabama and said "we have won 4 titles and should have won 4 more". I understand Saban has won 4, but Bama has only won 3 with him there. So he should have said "we have won 3 titles and should have won 5 more"
... or, he would have gone 9-3 again and our fickle fan base would have run him off. None of this matters, coulda shoulda woulda, the Bammer fans will claim them anyway.
Everybody knows our recruits could win every game if only they were coached right. Saban is a legend in Baton Rouge because he's not here. He is a legend in Gumpville because he is there. If he had stayed at LSU who knows?
