FightinTiger, I believe you miss Sabanfan's point. Surely he sees that the team can improve in certain areas, that the team isn't perfect & he would like us to see improvement in particular areas.

But many posters on here are unable to have a casual talk about what happened during the game, how we can improve & what needs to be worked on without being idiots. I say what's wrong with this team. Does Sabanfan attack me? No. It's not because I'm a fan of Miles, it's because I can show some common decency for a team that we are all supposed to love.

All fans are entitled to their beliefs about what should be done, but too many of you are too quick to criticize, not quick enough to forgive, and all & around just come here to b*tch & moan instead of support the team.

In your opinion. To fightin tigger his views are valid even if they are chicken littlish. he has a right to express them regardless of what Sabanfan thinks.
Owners regulate a forum, the rest of us are just members.
If other teams are allowed to post smack and get away with it, the least you can do is allow other LSU fans to post their opposing views, no matter how they suck. skip them if you must. If everyone agreed with you, it would be pretty dull trust me.

I hate it when people lack reading comprehension skills.

What I said was that fans should be more willing to talk about the problems openly & not be so fast to criticize. I did NOT say that every one should agree with me, love the team, & never criticize.

This has nothing to do with everyone agreeing. I want some folks to think our play calling was bland, that we should pass to Skylar on the bubble more. Those opinions are welcome! "Miles is an idiot. This coaching staff can't coach because I know everything about football and I'd do it different. Jimbo is pathetic..." The way these opinions are started are a problem. Either be constructive, or STFU.

what exactly did I not understand?
    1. you hate it when people criticize.

I said... they can if they want to its a free country.

    what constitutes "fast" to you.

I hate the way my Dad bytches about LSU playing bad, the way I cure that is avoid him during games.

All I am saying here is they can say what they want. YOU can bytch about their bytching like you are now if you want...whatever.. :dis:

How long have you known fightin tiger on this board? do you think he or anyone else is gonna change the way they post based on you or sabanfan's crying about their crying?

furthermore if I wana bytch about the way LSU plays EVEN if it's after the goll durn National championship... I'll do it. if you dont like it SKIP THE DAHM POST.

Did I say that you don't support LSU? I don't believe I did...

Don't give yourself too much credit. I read most posts on here & your posts on the coaching staff usually happen to stick out to me because I disagree with you. If I didn't want to hear you, I would block you. I am not attacking you. I'm disagreeing with you. I'm not saying you can't comment on what's wrong with this team.

Just to make sure everyone understands this, I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE OPINIONS. I'M NOT SAYING YOU CAN'T EXPRESS THEM. I'M JUST SUGGESTING THAT YOU BE CONSTRUCTIVE WITH IT & USE THIS FORUM TO HAVE INTELLIGENT DISCUSSIONS RATHER THAN PISS & MOAN. VENT ALL YOU WANT, BUT TRY TO BE CIVIL ABOUT IT.

FightinTiger, I don't dislike you. I just disagree with you about the coaching staff and the manner in which you post about it is enough to make me openly disagree with you, & often.

AND I MIGHT ADD... I dont always agree with this guy BUT he has a right to gripe, be wrong, look like an idiot or hit the nail on the head.....and generally BYTCH as much as he wants as long as Brett doesn't kick him out.

some people around here keep posting about "how others need to act as a fan" ( not just you Cparso so dont take this wrong ) :dis: Give me a dahm break! write a freaking book or something!

No one at LSU appointed anyone on this forum the official LSU fan model.

but hey you have a right to keep posting your "model LSU fan" posts if you want... but for the reocrd, its BS.

I hate that people criticize without thinking. I hate when people aren't able to express their feelings without bashing this team & coach. I hate that I've had to complain about this because it's gotten so bad around here.

I don't think FTiger is going to change how he posts and how he vents.
That's why he is telling you to put him on ignore.
    Everybody complains differently.

I recall years before there was the internet and football forums when you went back to the tailgating sites after a game and you could here the same types of arguments over drinks. Some fights damn near broke out over 'discussions' over coaches, plays, etc. It's just the way fans interact. It's always been that way and will continue here on the forums or at the games themselves. It's no big deal. Freedom of expression.

I think we all agree everyone is entitled to their opinion. I criticized Miles/Pelini after the Tenn. game, particularly the pass defense, lack of clock management, team not appearing mentally prepared. Some is on the players also.

I also said you could not judge the coaches on one or two games, to give them a chance.

I gave them a chance, and they've PRODUCED. 5-1, #7 in the country.

They haven't won pretty, haven't won perfect, but they've won. My beef is with the posts that "Miles is dumb, Fisher play calling sucks, our coaches are bush league, etc." This is just not reasonable. They are doing a basically good job, IMO. We are 5-1, #7 in the nation. That's with a real raw soph QB. Fisher was good enough to get us a crystal trophy a couple years ago, and nobody was complaining about him in the fall of 2003.

When the coaches do a poor job, its ok to say so. If I was on this forum in the Hallman and Dinardo days, I'd have been saying it was time for them to go. They had the poor records to prove it.

We are not in that situation today. Look at our record, and thank the good Lord we are doing so well. The team can use all he help it can get right now.
