You whiners have got me all wrong. I don't give a damn if you want to throw your tantrums after a less than perfect game. I merely point out the stupidity of it. It's for your own good.

Take last night. Suppose Bowe catches that TD pass and we go up 21-10. In all likelihood, we win the game in regulation and all is well in Tigerland. But he drops it. What was the net result? Did we lose the game? Are we out of the SEC race? No. The only effect that dropped pass had was to prolong the anguish for Tiger fans, but in the end, a win is a win. You bitchers are crying because you had to endure the stress and you had to have your panties in a wad for an extra quarter or so. In the final analysis, it had zero affect on the outcome. Same with Florida. 5 turnovers and over 100 yards in penalties turned a potential comfortable win into a nail biter. If we play perfect and win 35-0, do we get an extra point in the conference standings? Are we less likely to win the west because the game was close? Of course not. It's all about "Ws" and "Ls". The crybabies get up in arms because their team did not blow out the other team thereby validating their manliness.

My goal for LSU is to get to the SECCG and to win it. The NC and BCS distractions will play themselves out. A lot of people here have the NC as their goal and any perceived bump in the road sets them off. Deal with the fact that USC and Texas are 1 & 2 and quit obsessing over whether LSU will be perceived as their equal. In short, take your victories as they come and quit trying to act like you know more than the experts charged with pursuing those victories. You only look like fools.

By the way, Saban and his players are paid millions to win. It's apples and oranges.

I don't know much about SabanFan but I don't see anything wrong with this post. In fact I thought it was pretty good.

SabanFan and I have disagreed a few times in the past, but I find myself siding with him more and more lately. I do not understand how anyone can be disappointed in our win against AU. Rejoice and be happy. Some of the people on here just need to get laid.

I guess i fall somewhere in the middle here.

I think both sides are right and wrong.

I am and always will be an LSU fan . That is in an 0-11 season or a 11-0 season.

After a game talking about what went right and what went wrong is part of the enjoyment i get out of the sport.

If i disagree with Playcalling in a game or question a coaching decision it is just part of my right as a fan and shows that i care about what happens in the LSU program .

Personal attacks on Coaches and the players crosses the line. Placing for sale signs in a coaches yard and calling them bad names is going to far and that is where i split with some of the posters here.

My God some of the things said on this forum about Pellini after the first game that we won were horrible. Question the decision on the field but to attack the man is not acceptable.

If Miles or whoever you have a disagreement with on game strategy is fine. Just do it in a respectful way.

I was a family member of a high school coach and i can tell you their were people on occasion that said things that as a family member of that person hurt . People who if you went to their job couldnt withstand the same observations and yet they were football experts.

The average person has no idea how much time these coaches put in and spend away from their families. Yes college coaches are paid and paid well but Coaching is a tough profession.

That is why i choose to discuss decisions but i dont disrespect the person or the player.

pelini is responsible for only one LSU L and ironically only one L in his name. let's hope it stays that way. :hihi: :hihi:
