Saban Turned Down Again, This time by Jeff Brohm

    I'll use some logic here...and, I'll stand by my sources.

    Why would we have Applewhite in as QB coach, Pendry as OC, and offer Brohm? Use an AP article as a source of point? Sure, go ahead. Use the H-ville paper? Sure go ahead. What strikes me as funny here is one of the things we were so warned about is Saban doesn't share info with the media...but now, they are being used as sources?

    You can make of this what you want...

    So you're saying the big bad media made up this quote from Brohm?

    "In all reality, it basically came down to a simple question I asked myself, 'Do I want to help the University of Alabama win a national championship or do I want to help the University of Louisville win a national championship,'" Jeff Brohm said. "I felt the answer was easy and I chose Louisville."

    Very poor logic. Weak response. I think you are nailed!!

    I guess you are saying both Fisher and Brohm are liars. With all reasonable logic, why would either one lie. Slick Nick is that only one with the ego that won't let him be truthful.

    And to drive in the nail in the coffin, Saban admitted on ESPN today in his interview with Mortenson that he had lied when he said he had no interest in the bama HC job.

    Terry knows Alabama, remember that. He's a little drunk with Saban fever right now and is making some comments that we may hammer him on in a year or two. But he can generally be believed on Bama info.

    He's not reliable concerning LSU info, however but he is opinionated. He is pre-disposed to dismiss Les Miles and somehow thinks he has a handle on what LSU fans think.

    Sometimes Terry is Captain Obvious, like predicting that LSU fans will turn on Les Miles if he starts losing. Duhhhh! Any school's fans will turn on a losing coach quicker than you can say Shula. We'll wait until Les actually starts losing, thank you. And if he does, we'll go out and get another coach, just like Bama did. LSU has had no shortage of top applicants for any recent opening.

    Terry also thinks the media make up quotes and attribute them to people, as noted above. In all fairness, Terry does seem to have pretty good inside Bama knowledge. He's also blinded by these sources though, and dismisses all that does not reconcile with the insider stuff.

    I had pretty good inside information when I lived in Birmingham for 3 years, but I didn't go around proclaiming that my word was testament. People do not mind the information, but the constant im right you're wrong is getting old. Terry promised he would never post on this board again, but amazing how much he and O$aban BIn Lyin have in common. Maybe thats why he constantly defends him at all cost, he could be Mrs. $aban.:geauxtige

    having observed the brohm family (oscar, greg, jeff, brian) for years now, i believe they are people of integrity. the louisville courier-journal carried the same article. based on the past, how can anyone say bama has much credibility?
