I was replying to some comments in Terry's post, obviously. Topics wander around here or haven't you noticed?

If you want my opinion on your challenge to Terry, I think you two have beaten the original topic to death already and both of you are making ridiculously unimportant points. If you want my opinion on the thread subject, I don't really give a rat's ass about why a coach declines a job or accepts it at Bama.

I just hope Nick never gets good safeties at Bama, we've all seen how bad his defenses can be without at least a good, smart safety along with a great one.

Kind of like in 2002 when we started the season 6-1 and then Damien James left and we finished off 2-4.

Offer? Yes!! C'mon Terry it's not really a big deal. Everybody gets turned down sometime along the way. Why does it pain bammers so bad to simply admit they got turned down? I ask you again, do you really believe Fisher and Brohm are both lying? As Hannity says, just yes or no!!!

Fisher said no to Alabama simply because of his future head coaching potential at FSU. It's not like he said no so he could stay at LSU. :dis: It just seems to me that some folks here are grasping for anything they possibly can to make it appear that things are going bad for Saban. It's just simply not the case. He has an awesome staff now lined up, especially after getting Clemson's running backs coach today, who, btw, recruits well in LA.

Sure, if you believe what the media is reporting ..... but, as Terry so aptly pointed out, you can't always believe what's in the media, right?

The Alabama Board of Regents' decision to nix the UAB Head Coach offer cost Fisher an armored car load of semolians ...... and IMO, they were playing politics with Fisher's livelihood. That may represent the new definition of "bush league.,"

How can anybody question Fisher's seeming mistrust with the very same BoR that would be leading his future at the university of Alabama?

I thought the Clemson RB coach was getting grief from the fans because of the lack of production of the #1 RB recruit last year. I think his name is Spiller(sp?)

CJ Spiller was the freshman phenom that scorched Georgia Tech in the primetime, tipping-point game of the ACC season.

He's now rumored to be transferring to UF ...... coincidence?
