Good job Meathead and Pharpe! It's official. The photo is REAL! .....and it's too bad that the focus is on whether or not it's real. The focus should be on the pranksters and how awesome the prank was!:geauxtige
don't forget about college gameday this past year, and the mysterious LSU flag that seemed to show up everywhere from State college to Columbus to college station and every where in between. Hats off to whoever that was
Like I said earlier, the sign doesn't match with what I've seen personally. Doesn't match with the University's own parking maps. However, there is always the possibility assignments have been altered in the last few weeks...wouldn't be the first time something has been changed in the summer. (paid a few tickets in school for that very reason) If that is the case, there could be some credence here. Hey, it looks like someone placed an LSU bumper sticker on a coaches car. (I guess the next question would be, "Is it Saban's, Gottfried's, Patterson's, Wells'...it's the Athletic Building.) The idea has some humor in it; don't disagree there. The act itself, if true, is a sad reflection on whomever did it. Come on, messing with a man's ride? I can think of a half-a-dozen or more adjectives to describe this...starting with vandalism. I guess you are left with a choice here. Laugh, and consider it a good photoshop. Or, claim it, and admit what really happened there. It's a sad reflection on a segment of your fan base if it did happen.
Please, spare me. If the person had already torn it off of his own ride, how difficult would it really be to remove it from Saban's? 'Vandalism' implies some sort of damage to one's property. If that second generation bumper-sticker can cause damage to that $70,000 (or whatever) car, then ya boy got ripped off (no pun intended). I'm sure you'd fall off that high horse real quick if the tables were turned.
Glad you put it into perspective for everyone Terry. After considering you post, and this horrendous act of vandalism, I am ashamed to be associated with such reckless disregard for other peoples property. :nope: I mean, it would take the victim almost 15 seconds to get that thing off. And I don't even want to think about the minute or two it may take to clean off any residue. It is a sad day in LSU history indeed!
Geez, I've said it was funny 2X! I guess I'm one that just comes from a different background; perspective, if you will. I honestly didn't think the respect of other's property would be something that fell outside of "black and white" definitions. Seriously, no matter where, if this was witnessed by anyone in a law enforcement field the "prankster" would be in cuffs. No?
