    That's odd. We fish the river with set lines. We go through a lot of trouble to catch live bait SOmwemwont catch blues and target spotted cats (flatheads). If we use cut bait (mullet, shad, chicken hearts) we will seldom catch a flathead but load up on the blues.

    for my money and time there isn't any better tasting fish than sac-a-lait. Nice catch...

    They def good. Fried about 2 gallons of em for a bunch of family and friends tonight. Can't say they better than flounder, trout, or bluegills but they right behind em.

    Equal with trout. Better than bluegills. Better than flounder unless it's stuffed.

    I'd take a gallon of any of those. Well, not sure if I've ever eaten trout but if you say they're good, I'm game.
