This game was over when Ingram fumbled. Good thing for me as I'm taking kids to monster trucks tonight.
Frustrating, but there's a very good reason I stayed out of the conversation when people were talking so optimistically all week. We have too many weaknesses, and the Seahawks at home are virtually unbeatable. Their loss to AZ was the anomaly, not the way they kicked our ass in the first meeting.
If its coaching, its about an attitude rather than schemes. Watch their offense....they are successful because they never give up on plays. Wilson, Lynch, et al keep extending the play with their legs, with a stiffarm, until the defense breaks down. Defensively, they are all about the assignment and technique. They are never out of position on the run, their secondary is always in the right place, and always play with great technique. Its not that they are doing things the Saints aren't prepared for. They don't. Beat. Themselves......not even for a play.
I didn't see a blitz, I saw a defensive tackle run by Jahri Evans like he wasn't even on the field. He should be given a payroll deduction for that play; he was that bad
Bonehead playcalling from Payton... Those screens haven't worked against Seattle in the last 3 years... STOP RUNNING THEM!
