Carter Sheridan will join LSU as an offensive analyst after 11 seasons as an assistant with the Saints, where he worked primarily with receivers. He also worked with receivers while at Tulane. Most recently, he worked on the Purple Knight coaching staff at his alma mater, St. Augustine High. As most of you know, analysts are used for such things as breaking down film and creating game plans but, per NCAA rules, cannot have direct coaching responsibilities.
