I'm not impressed with any of the Saints staff right now. Payton needs to pull his head from his ass and figure something out.

saints are an 8-8 team. vaccaro is nonexistent, byrd was overpaid thus far. wasted a first rd draft pick on patrick robinson. we have no playmakers on defense. just a couple on offense. and like lsu, their linebackers are average except for lofton. cameron jordan and the gang get no sacks. will be a miracle if they make the playoffs. do they can rob ryan or is it loomis and paytons fault on personnel decisions. ryan is forced to send a zero blitz far too often. and their has-beens and never-was are flourishing on other teams. they have to overhaul this thing while brees is still upright.
Brees is part of the problem. It was on display against the Falcons; he can't throw the deep ball anymore. And the Browns and Cowboys quickly figured it out; both schemed to take the medium balls away, knowing that not spreading out to take away deep routes isn't nearly as dangerous as it used to be.
Kinda had the feeling Drew would be a one hit wonder. He should give back some of that guarantee money and go make another half dozen babies or something. All that talk with him saying he will be playing in the NFL when he's 45yrs old. The skills are diminishing and fast at 35yrs old.
