    Well, they went 18-1 after barely losing the Super Bowl. That's a little different. They are an exception and not the rule.

    True, but if i recall, they didn't breeze through the playoffs last year. The lack of a running game made it hard for them in the playoffs.

    was just messin with ya Steve. I usually have the AU logo there, but Nootch and Izzy got me to change it when we played Bama. Never changed it back.

    Ultimately New England lost the game that mattered most because they had an ineffective running game.

    DOTB is correct. A Super Bowl winning team that was inept at running the ball or refused to run the ball does not exist.
