Saints sign Jairus Byrd to a 6 year deal

I forgot to figure in a bottom level salary taking over Sproles' spot (top 51 cap hits are considered). And the 750K dead money stays with the Saints for Sproles even though we traded him (seems a bit unfair). So we are $1.97 million under the cap.

We'll need about $3-$4 million in cap space to sign rookies.

 

Looks like we need about only $2 million for the rookies. So we're in ok shape.
