I hope to get tickets for all four games. If I do, they will be my second, third, fourth, and fifth Saints games ever.
In a way a kind of always wished the Saints would have played a game in TS. I bet ole Buddy D would have liked to have seen it.
I just got a cell phone call from a guy who knows the Dolphins' equipment manager. Nick is meeting with the players at his house RIGHT NOW and will definitely coach the Dolphins-Saints game. This is from a very good source.
I know some people are unhappy with the decision to play in TS. But think about this. If LSU had been displaced by some freak accident, would you want them playing in the Dome (or the equivilant) or 10 hours away in the land of steers? This is the situation anyone from the south of BR is in. What about all the Saints fans who were affected and here, or the ones unaffected (from BR or elsewhere) that want to see the Saints play?
Will be interesting to see how Baton Rouge does... A city with a much higher per capita income, larger middle class, and more big business than New Orleans...
I contacted the LSU Ticket Office today. I was told that the tickets will be available through Ticketmaster and not the LSU Ticket Office. Apparently "officials" are presently meeting to iron out the details. I'm planning on going to the Fins, Bucs and Panthers games if I can secure tickets. The Panthers game may acutually decide somethng. If not, it will be fun to see Jake Delhomme play in Tiger Stadium, the other two games obviously have LSU connections.
Yeah maybe we need to send the purple and gold jet to Miamia to bring him back to Baton Rouge ! Skip could greet him at the airport and they could meet in the jet and have "talks." October 30th is the day b4 Halloween afterall.
