1. If you asked me that before this game, YES! Now after seeing this game, NOT AT ALL.:dis:
  2. No, I would be very surprise. It would have to be a complete and utter second half meltdown if we didn't. We haven't had a great second half, but we are not quite in meltdown mode yet...
  3. Still Believe

Good news: Atlanta lost today, now 5-5.

Bad News: Carolina won today, now 6-4 and tied with the Saints.

If Saints lose today, they will have lost 3 out of the last 4.

Remaining games: @ Atlanta, SF, @ Dallas, Washington, @ NYG, Carolina.

According to the following website 4 more wins will give us a 99% chance of making playoffs and 3 more wins will give us a 76% chance.

With that in mind, a win this weekend will be huge as we should be heavily favored in our home games against Washington and San Francisco. That would leave us needing 1 win between Atlanta, Dallas, NYG and Carolina.

Just might be playing for the division title on New Year's Eve against the Panthers.

  4. Re: Still Believe

Saints will beat both Atlanta and San Fran and will be 8-4. All will be well in Saints land. Division will be settled in the last game of the season at home vs. the Panthers. Should be a dandy. Loser gets a wildcard.

600 yards offense and 16 pts just don't equate. Brees had his best and worst game of the year all in one. If you ask him, he probably tell you he was the cause for this loss. And had he made the correct reads in the endzone, the game would have been a blowout in the Saints favor instead, especially as well as the Saints D played for almost 3 quarters. You can't keep putting pressure on your D. Eventually it catches up to you. And it did today.
  5. Re: Still Believe

TO killed us again. Can't throw 2 INTs in the endzone and expect to win.
  6. Re: Still Believe

Can't understand how you don't give safety help with Thomas on Ocho. That baffled me.
  7. Re: Still Believe

It looked like Bullocks blew his assignment on that first Ocho TD. The secondary should clearly be our number 1 priority in the off-season.
  8. Re: Still Believe

For once I will be happy when the Saints draft Def Heavy this next year.
  9. Re: Still Believe

I called for Bullocks to be replaced by Bellamy.

    Guess not.

Safety, Beast of a LB, Cover Corner

Those 3 will be addressed. I'd like to see 2 of these 3 positions as free agents, the other one we can draft (i.e., safety)
