1. The Saints lucked their asses off. The running game opened up passing in the first half. Combine that with defensive scores and you get a big lead which they sat on in the second half. They quit.
  2. ?
  3. Rogers is out for the season. Green Bay is desperate.
  4. I remember lots of excruciating losses.

  5. A wins a win is a win. Jameis went down today. TB, ATL, and Carolina all lost this week. Saints are finally in a good spot. Combine that with LSUs huge win and it’s been a great week of football!!

  6. When the Saints opened the season 0-2 their odds of making the playoffs were only 12%. I wonder what it is now.
  7. No doubt. It's just tough to watch such bad football (offense and special teams) taint what had been a great, dominating performance for 2-1/2 quarters. I still savor the win. They've been hard to come by the last few years.
  8. "Quit" implies gave up. They certainly didn't give up with a 35-point lead. I was flipping around on the college games last night, and I stopped at Bama/Arky. The gumps were up by about 35 and the announcer said,"Complacency leads to losing. Alabama never gets complacent." That probably holds true in the NFL even moreso than college. With a 35-point lead, the Saints got complacent.
  9. It's easy to do, but with today's wide open attacks, anything is possible, so if I was a head coach, I'd never take my foot off the throat.
  10. I know, right? If it wasn't so ridiculous, I'd say I was mentally drained after watching LSU yesterday and the Saints today.
