    b_leblanc That's just my game...

Ingram is another heisman bust. Reggie Bush was a better player for the saints than Ingram has been. Ugh, can't believe I just said that. (washing my mouth out now) :)

I cringe every time the Saints pick a running back in the first round. To many bad experiences.

They don't utilize him correctly. Ingram needs to be a featured back to be successful. He gets stronger the more carries he gets. It's not really his fault. He just doesn't fit the Saints' scheme.

    ParadiseiNC don't worry, be happy

Deuce McAlister was pretty descent, I'd say, at #23 in the 1st Rd. He's only one of the all time Saints greats. Gotta give Ingram a little time. He's coming off of arthroscopic surgery, I believe, and needs more touches.

Reggie Bush is averaging over 125 yards/game over his last 6 games. Miami's giving him what he wanted; a chance to be an every down back, and its beginning to pay off for him. There something to be said for letting a running back get some carries and get into a rhythm. The Saints rarely give a back the ball more than two plays in a row, the reasoning being that the backs will stay fresh and healthy. Hasn't worked the last two seasons, though, has it?

Exactly. It's basically what I've been saying about Ingram for 2 years. The more touches he gets, the stronger he becomes.

On another note regarding the Redskins, Orakpo and Carriker are done for the season.
