THEY DID!!! It was planned that they would stop the game to allow for giving Brees the ball and him getting his congrats from everyone, and they still threw the flag. I'm really surprised no one has pointed that out.
I never saw the flag? Was any penalty imposed? After the celebration the Saints line up on the 3 for the 2 point XP try.
Yes they flagged us for the celebration, pretty lame but refs going to be refs. I am sure the Saints were ok with it.

Where was Peyton Manning last night? As a New Orleans native who's dad is a big part of the Saints history he should have been there to congrats Brees during the celebration. Like the way the Maris family was there when Mark McGwire broke the record.
