4-star DE from St. James, brings us to number 6 in 247sports recruit rankings. Anyone notice rivals took Raesjon Davis' 5th star away? He's a 4-star now.....why? Who knows?
They redid the rankings and just had a few kids jump him. His player rating is still about the same, but they don’t like to give out too many 5 stars at this point in the cycle. Kind of silly.
Thing is, thanks to the coronavirus, none of these kids have done anything in the last 3 months to warrant a redo of the rankings. Its not like the kids who jumped past him have been killing it in the offseason camps; there haven't been any.
Stars are just some guy's opinion. Nobody can know everything there is to know about every good high school player in the country. It leads you to wonder how those opinions are formed in the first place
They’ve been fairly transparent that all they are doing is watching film. That’s part of what makes it silly.
