Sammy Joseph, a redshirt freshman who started every game last fall at Colorado and was fourth on the team in tackles with 55 and two interceptions, has announced that he is transferring from Colorado.

There are strong rumors that Joseph will be transferring to LSU and an official announcement could come very soon. Joseph was recruited hard by Nick Saban out of Shaw high school and is a great prospect.

Joseph will have to sit out one year before being eligible. His brother, Vance Joseph, was the cornerback coach at Colorado until he was placed on administrative leave during the recent investigation into the football program. He later took an assistant's job at Bowling Green. Here is a link to an article on Joseph's plans to transfer.
