What a bunch of freaks.
How can such a bill ever pass? It's directly in complete opposition to the second amendment....
I guess they can pass anything they want. Then the supreme court will just laugh and tell them that they are a bunch of idiots.
I also like the overreation by the gun advocates. The fact that they think SF will turn into the wild west with all the criminals moving there simply because they don't allow hand guns. I guess all of said criminals forgot that shotguns and rifles kill too.
Thank goodness for California. Makes some of the goofy stuff we do here once in a while seem pretty logical.
If passed next November, residents would have 90 days to give up firearms they keep in their homes or businesses. The proposal was immediately dismissed as illegal by a gun owners group.
Never mind that this thing is a direct violation of the Second Amendment. It's
also a violation of individual rights to private property. You know what handguns cost on the open market? This provision is like asking gun owners
to fork over $500-$1000 just for having it.
No big deal. You can't pull a trigger with a limp wrist anyway.
