You sure about that? I've seen more than one time he gets drilled just as he throws it. That pass in the auburn game is just one that comes to mind and that was as a freshman. Kid got rocked and dropped it right into the hands of the WR about 40 yds down field for a score.
I know the play. It was a damn good pass, (A very picky but), but...... If you pay close attention to that play, that blitz came from the blindside, and he had no never saw the guy coming. He struggles when he sees the pressure. If he had seen that blitzer, that play may have never happened. Still was a helluva pass, and a helluva game. Belief me, I have the highest hopes, but I've seen enough of the kid to stand firm in my opinion. Any thoughts of him just playing lights out, is just pure fans being fans. And belief me, I am a 2004 alumn and a damn die hard fan, I want him to play lights out just like everyone else, but my common sense won't let me lie to myself... But heres to hoping:wave: :geauxtige
Oh, well why didn't you say so. I don't think Drew Brees is busy this weekend and Dallas isn't that far from his hometown. Maybe he can step in. [/sarcasm] :geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
If you watch Lee in the Tenn and Bama games when he made those big plays on third and fourth down he steps up to avoid the pressure and made the throw. I didn't see him fold as you suggest but maybe I am not watching the same highlight as everyone else. Also the 2 slant passes he threw to TT in the UF game looked like "hot routes" to me and he got nailed on both of those passes. One went for a td the other set us up for the game winner.
Kirby your post to start this thread is about 90% word for word what I told a friend today. I think Randall could have a monster year with solid QB play. I am very excited about the talent and depth at WR
