Sounds like this COULD go on beyond the MTSU game. Perrilloux may end up going from the doghouse to the penthouse for a few weeks.
I think his doghouse was in the penthouse but thats neither here nor there. This is where we should be thankful our defense is as good as it is. I dont think we lose much with RP in there.
Give Us a Clue on Matt! I don't like the philosophy of keeping fans in the dark about injured players. I know it stems from gamesmanship and wanting to keep opponents guessing as they prepare, but tell the Tiger fans something that will ease their concern, Les, please! High ankle sprains are awful and lingering. And Matt's a running QB. I am very concerned about the big picture. Perrilloux is a mega-talent. But LSU is going to be challenged in the coming weeks. A few of those game are going to be decided in the 4th quarter. When the chips are down, I want a senior in there. And not a limping one.
I don't blame Les for not saying. Besides, it's a HIPPA violation to disclose one's medical information without consent.
LOL! oh so clever, you are. i work in healthcare administration. can i tell you HIPAA can be a gigantic thorn. great comment!
Re: Give Us a Clue on Matt! not gonna happen. and it shouldn't. appeasing fans is second to keeping your opponent from being able to fully prepare.
no. a private mental health provider called MedSouth. we have community mental health centers, medicare partial programs, and medicaid waiver programs in 6 louisiana cities (9 facilities in all).
I'm an attorney, and I can tell you that HIPAA basically says that it's illegal for anyone affiliated with a medical provider to give out ANY information about a patient's medical condition without the consent of the patient or a court order. The days of coaches openly discussing player injuries are probably ending, though there are probably a few who don't understand the rules. Miles seems to have picked up on it pretty quickly and embraced it wholeheartedly, probably because he doesn't particularly want to discuss it anyway.
