What a dumbass. Les has delivered consistent top-10 recruiting classes. Rated by all the services. By people a lot smarter than you. Not that that is hard.

That is how everybody defines it, Gilligan.

Bullshit. How about the defensive line? Stud after stud. How about defensive back? Stud after stud. Offensive line=ditto. Kickers= ditto. Return men=ditto.

Your hatred for Les clouds every point you attempt to make. You are blind to everything good and only see the flaws . . .and half of those are imagined.

    Who else are we behind?

Look, bub, all that matters is wins and losses.

You're right about the special teams and the offensive line.

I'm right about the other positions too. You can't deny defensive back with three All-Americans and a Heisman Trophy finalist.

Unfortunately, not many of the offensive recruits have performed and advanced as well as our defensive recruits. We have become a defensive player factory for the NFL but very few of our offensive recruits move on to and contribute to NFL teams. Is that because they were never any good or are they not being groomed properly in our system?

That statement was specific to the conversation I was having. If you're gonna say Saban is literally centimeters from being just another coach, you could say Miles is figuratively centimeters from having a losing record. I credit Miles for his wins, same as I do Saban.

BTW, a Les Miles recruit and player just returned a punt 90 yards for a TD in a playoff game....... Just sayin...

I was simply arguing that Saban has a few steps on Miles.

I don't agree than W/Ls are all that matters; I agree they carry a lot of weight, but performance is an indicator of a program. The blow up after the Clemson loss shouldn't have been as severe, considering we've seen that type of performance for years. Our offense was inexcusable, but it has been for years. I believe even you were critical of our offensive performance after Clemson.

So if we "looked" better losing its ok?

I don't buy it that we could ever accept any loss.

Hell, we bitch after a close win lol. "we should have blown them out!!!!!"
