World Boxing Organization champ Lamon Brewster of Los Angeles, wearing a UCLA shirt in support of the Bruins in the Final Four, hit the scale at 232 pounds. That was four pounds more than his most recent title defense against Luan Krasniqi on Sept. 28. Challenger Sergei Liakhovich, along with his manager and trainer, were decked out in LSU basketball apparel. He weighed 238½ pounds, under the 240 he weighed for his most recent match against Dominick Guinn on Dec. 3, 2004.
