Brady wasn't a media darling when he was hired.

Whether he meant to or not, it still reads that way. See fwd pass comment. Seen similar from quite a few other posters of late. Starting to think the jilted lover syndrome is real.

I get it. He is just a read between the lines kinda dude. However, being the official KOD source, I am a little concerned about his confidence...

Right. I mean, in certain situations we'd do an RPO play or 2. But in the strictest sense, can't it be argued that we were running a version of the Air Raid, with at least 4 and 5 WRs most of time. It was a spread in that those receivers were spread out from sideline to sideline. Maybe a good term for it would be a hybrid offense, since we had elements for multiple styles.

But (insert irrational argument based on the assumption that I know football and football coaches better than Ed Orgeron here)!

We ran the RPO a pretty large amount of the time. Not just 1-2 times a game, although, I’m not sure that you’re even suggesting that. And for the overwhelming majority of offensive plays, we went 3 WR. Air raid is a loose term that could probably categorize our offense somewhat accurately, but there are a number of differences between the tradition air raid and our offense. For starters, there is little, if any, RPO involved in the air raid. Most noteably, the air raid is typically shorter throws in the 5-15 yard range, whereas we took a lot of deep shots.
