That last part is what concerns me.

For starters, they weren't running RPO. At least not exclusively or by its traditional definition. Believe what you want but I think minger is responsible for about as much adjustment as he has been his entire coaching career.

Jesus Christ the responses in this thread are fucking embarrassing.

    Get a grip people.

    He's not the head coach.

    He's not even the OC.

He's here to help develop our quarterbacks.

You know like the one he developed in the rookie sensation Dak Prescott, when everybody thought the Dallas season was over when Romo went down in preseason? That team went 13-3. The same Scott Linehan that developed Matt Stafford into a 41 TD 5,000 yard passer in 2011. Yeah that guy.

    Reevaluate your stance.

Years of experience in the NFL. Head coaching experience.

And I wouldn’t take Jerry Jones firing you as a necessarily bad thing. He does not know football very well.

I’m not sure who you’re referring to, but LSU ran a ton of RPO this season. The opening TD to Jefferson against Oklahoma was traditional RPO. The very first TD of the year to Chase was an RPO. My point was bigger, though: just because someone has tape doesn’t mean that they can stop you.

O is on record within the last two weeks saying E was the MVP of last season and was the guy who ran the offense. He said we just need someone to supplement for the red zone and third down.

The mere fact that he can pull someone who has been firmly entrenched in NFL coaching circles is a good sign in and of itself. LSU is now a coaching destination.

    ParadiseiNC don't worry, be happy

Yeah, it’s really not that important. Brady proved that last year:-(. Hope you’re right about the rest.
