He says in an article that Kevin Faulk still holds the single game rushing record at LSU,

Alley put up 250 against Ole Miss 2 years ago.

That game was on Cox Sports the other night. He actually ran for about 300 but there were some pesky penalties.

Damn those penalties. So bottom line is AB has the record.

Wonder if Faulk had any runs called back in his gem?

Remember that Reed had a long TD called back in his remarkable game vs Bama in 2001?

I watched the replay the other night too, it was one of the more frustrating lSU games I've watched in the past several years, I guess since the 2001 Ole Miss game.

I e-mailed Rabalais and he replied acknowledging the mistake. They are going to do a feature on the greatest Tigers by jersey number and they will correct it in that. Faulk does have the most all-purpose yards by a Tiger from that game though.

Kevin Faulk almost single-handedly won the Houston game for us. I was glad to be at the Ole Miss game when Alley went for "two-fitty". He was putting on moves I didn't think he had. Hope he is healthy this year.

I like the other side of him, the side that runs people over. He'll go straight at you and put a shoulder down and run you over.

Doesn't Faulk still hold the single game and season records for all-purpose yards? Could that have been what he meant?

No, it plainly said single game "rushing" record, with 246 yards.
