Thanks for posting this CParso Is Mike Paulus the younger brother of Greg Paulus? If so, I wonder if he's a basketball star as well? Based on geography and the teams his brother was looking at, I'm doubtful we'll have a real shot at him. I'm basing this on nothing other than gut feeling. He'll end up at Notre Dame (maybe not with Clausen there) or some east coast school. It'd be nice if they would have included the star rankings for some of these guys (if star rankings have been released yet). Looks like we're really targeting the Georgia area pretty hard. Maybe our success in Stone Mountain has given Miles the confidence to recruit there more often.
Star Rankings have not yet been released. I suspect they will not be released until the high school football season is under way, but I am not sure about that. Does anyone know when Rivals releases their star ratings?
I'm no longer a member, but historically they release the 5 stars first (just a guess, but say mid-May) and will have the top 100 done roughly by the end of May or very early June. The rest of the 4 stars and the 3 stars are done over June and somewhat into July. A major revision is usually done in August after all the camps and just before the season begins.
You are correct, Rivals usually does a special to announce the 5stars first, then works their way down. Speaking of which, which La kids do you think will be 5 stars? Obviously McKnight is a lock. Maybe Chad Jones? Does Paige, Blackwell or Luther Davis have a chance?
yes that is greg paulus' younger brother.... http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=71757
Rivals has an article that talks about how LSU just offered scholarships to QB prospects Chaisson & Lee. http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=537202
