Just a little FYI, Cameron Newton (Georgia QB) is now a 4 star & just commited to Florida. Of further interest to LSU fans, he is trying to recruit Toliver down to Florida with him.

    How is Toliver ranked? 6-4 190 with 4.5 speed, he'd be a 4, maybe?

He's a 5 star, best ranked WR in the country according to Rivals. 3rd I think by Scout.

After comparing the available film, I personally think Dez Bryant has some of the best highlights, he's a playmaker.

Dez is the best high school WR in the country IMO. He makes spectacular plays, but Tolliver has the better measurables for college/NFL, plus Dez has grade issues.

I wouldn't complain about getting either of them, that's for sure!

Well Red, remember how we went for it on 4th down rather than taking a long field goal try at the Auburn spectacle? There is a reason we didn't try those long kicks.

When a program goes through hard times it always hurts recruiting to a degree, but Miami has the history of winning enough for recruits to know they will turn it around soon. Plus their history of putting guys in the NFL is undeniable, so I don't think it will hurt them much.

I think it is our new DLine coach that we brought in from florida & is supposed to have some recruiting clout there. Miami is pretty far from LSU and I think we try focus our efforts on the panhandle area, but if there are interested athletes in Miami I'm sure our coaches will pursue them.
