YES, a thread with verve and swagger and I didn't have to visit Free Speech Alley.

You don't need an IQ when you are right, but it certainly helps when you are trying to figure out why others don't understand the same things as you.

Can someone get the man an award for his service to humanity. Didn't your momma ever tell you two wrongs don't make a right? Slander of the Muslim faith may get a couple of yucks here, but it sure isn't the Christian thing to do. Don't know if you're a religious man, and I've got my own flaws, but I don't think you are on the side of God or secular morality with your slander.

What this has to recruiting is anyone's guess.

I have never read the Koran so I can't say I know much about what Islam allows or doesn't allow. I do know that the great majority of Muslims claim that killing innocent people is not allowed. But there is obvioulsly a lot of Muslims that feel it is allowed. I suspect that is because they are interpreting Islam to suit their own radical views. I know for a fact that Jihad does not mean "holy war." It simple means "struggle". The radical Muslims have interpreted it to mean waging a war against "infidels." Most Mulims do not agree with that interpretation.

bayarea is totally correct is expressing his disdain for the Islamic faith in general as we have never heard many Islamic leaders condemn 9/11. they just chose to remain silent.

Plenty of muslims have condemned the terrorist attacks, most notably Muhammad Ali. And the reason you haven't heard many religious leaders condemn the attacks is probably because we have no clue who their religious leaders are. Islam is just like any other religion, they are pro-peace...lets not go off sounding like idiots by tying extreme religious fanatics with most muslims. It'd be like saying "All christians are crazy, I never heard any religious leaders condemn David Koresh."
