    We got the Sunday game, but I would have taken that bet. Rest assured, it wasn't to do the Saints any favors. For whatever reason, you can bet the decision to schedule the Saints for Sunday was self serving to the NFL.

    One of the Saints beat writers pointed out that the league wants the most attractive matchups possible, and the Saints with Kamara are a bigger ratings draw than without. No doubt he's right.

    Exactly. The league put its own interests ahead of the Saints. This one just happened to work in our favor.
