I heard there are discussions about a desperately needed contract extension.

I think he might me leaving. I saw him out in Dallas last weekend. He was banging a Cowboys cheerleader right in the bar while high-fiving Jerry Jones.

Jerry certainly knows how to recruit a coach.

    Hearing rumors swirling again.

Hearing that since the Saints and Drew Brees are so far apart on contract negotiations that Jerry Jones is supposedly foaming at the mouth to swoop in and buy CSP out of his contract and Drew Brees with him.

I'm not even sure if that can happen or if it's true, but one thing is for sure....this Dallas thing just won't go away.

There is zero chance that Drew Brees plays for any team except the Saints next year and very likely for the rest of his career. Tell your friends to get better rumors. The Saints have a better shot of signing Drew Brees and trading for Ware, fleecing the Cowboys with a 7th round pick than Payton and Brees ending up in Dallas.

You have to admit that "Rumors" is an awesome Fleetwood Mac album. It was overplayed at the time and I didn't like it back then for that reason but, it's really a classicly great piece of music.
