SEC and Big XII Champs to play in bowl game starting in 2014

Thought that stadium was a 100,000 capacity venue?

 

Not really true.
They can host 100k when they sell those "Standing room only" seats. Which means you can get in but all you do is loiter
No seats.
They did that only once for the first game to set the record. Ever since then it has been between 80-90k

 

That's what is facked up about it. Course bowl games are already a terrible and invalid means to judge conferences.

 

The SEC Champ goes to the National Championship.

 

True and good point about the "all SEC BCS game" and not taking it as a given in the future. Not sure how much Saban "bought" his way in since I happened to be of the opinion that LSU and Bama were the best two teams in the Nation- regardless of whether I thought they were "deserving" according to SOS, etc.

 

Just another way to show how dominant we are as a conference... More than likely if you take last years situation then Arkansas would have played Oklahoma State. Two similar styles of offenses would have been a very interesting game.

 

Last thing we need is Arkansas embarrassing us again on a National stage a' la Ohio State, USC, etc.
