Not that it really matters much, but Nick and Tubbs are good friends. Shortly after coming to LSU, Nick purchased a vacation home next door to Tubb's vacation home. Their families still spend time with each other.
They do want/need that kind of coach in Auburn. But that's not how TT is. I think you are wrong about TT not having respect on a national level though. And you can't argue with his performance OR character.
I'm not knocking TT, but expanding on the logic Terry put forth regarding the in state feelings. If TT had a different style, he might be a greater threat, long term, to Bama by winning over people rather than pisXing them off.
I corrected your error...Tubbs hasn't dominated the SEC...mainly just you guys.:hihi: And the revolving door thing? Classic...just classic.:dis:
1. I can find any number of statements from bama fans contradicting this point of view. It is, "please have turmoil at AU so the accession can take place....." I also find the mention of the effects that sanctions had at bama perplexing. I have never heard any talk from bama that the success that bama had while it's rivals struggled under sanctions should somehow tarnish its own accomplishments. 2. If CTT doesn't like playing second fiddle, how does going to tamu change that perception?
Well, for once, we have something in common.............I, like you, have no idea what you're talking about- not that I care.
