  1. You had it right the first time, no need to read nonsense when you know what its going to say.

  2. One brain cramp is at the least tolerable. Now two back to back both in big ventures people are going to talk. In between those two judgment calls came an incredible raise to 5 million per year. This off season there will be lots of discussion, some I think as critical as CLM has heard.
  3. If Colt hadn't gotten hurt, Saban's ill advised fake punt would be melting down the Bama boards today.
  4. Texas blew it, plain and simple. Boneheaded move in not just going into the half down 11. Then the receivers dropping balls, especially the sure touchdown that one guy dropped. Then in the 2nd half apparently some SEC officials drugged the real officials and took their place. Some really criminal calls and non calls in the 2nd half by the zebras.
  5. I don't think you'll be allowed to bring your local replay booth official with you to Baton Rouge next season. :hihi:

Hopefully the game will be called fair next year.

You'll definitely have a top team again next year but this year's team was not a dominant team and needed a lot of help (missed FGs, bad calls, good fortune) to get to the top.

As bad as LSU's QB situation was in 2008 and as horrible as our offense was this year...LSU still had a great opportunity to win both games. If we can get our act together, it should be a great matchup next year. I just hope the game will be decided by Tigers and Elephants...NOT Zebras!!!

  6. He's the reason we ended up with Shepard

Gilbert will be a better QB then McCoy IMHO. He looked a little rattled in the first half, but considering the magnitude of the game I think he performed reasonably well in the second half. I hope the turnovers don't get in his head and cause him to be another Jarret Lee
  7. Bama's #3 interfered on every pass play that I saw.

  8. Predicting the future? That injury changed everyone's game plan, just like the 24 to 6 half time lead changed Bama's intensity, unfortunately. If you want to run the football against this defense fine bring your asbestos suit with you.

Every dramatic shift in a game will bring out what the other team is made of. You know "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction".

Whatever it took Bama answered those questions.

  9. Bama would have been down 14-0 and playing against an All American QB.
  10. And would have had to throw. How'd the passing game work out for Bama?
