1. I knew you'd cave.

  2. real men cave.
  3. It's football season. Man cannot be faulted for acts like these, but being cheap and trying to ball off the grid is just flirting with a certain level of disappointment. Caving in these circumstances doesn't make him a lesser man, just a man who ultimately wised the fuck up.

I'll offer my congratulations and a kotex for tempting fate, ever again.

  4. DirecTV has gotten a lot better in the last 10 years. It doesn't rain too much where I am, but when it does, I don't even notice a difference. When I had it before, it would go out completely sometimes.

  5. I tried sling. Like it. However our internet company is not worth a damn. Couldn't watch much of anything without interruption.

    Can't miss a game. :D
  6. It rains here all the time but I've rarely had a rainout last for more than 5 minutes. It has to be some really intense rain. I lose more viewing with storm-related power outages.
  7. True...I had direct tv working during a hurricane in BR. But I have had times when it freezes and all you do is go setting and have your guide also show the standard channels as well has the HD. The standard channels work at all times.

  8. When I had Direct TV the signal went out every time a cloud passed over.
  9. This is directly related to the dish pointing skills of the installer. In fact its not really even skill since once you get a signal it takes an extra 5 minutes to fine tune it into the 90 percent signal strength range. If you can get it in the 90s it rarely will go out. I've had DTV for over 12 years and install my own dishes and never have weather related problems. If they don't have a clear view of the southern sky all bets are off.
  10. I've had Direct TV for a year and love it! My cable was out way more than any brief weather interruptions w/DTV. I've had similar experiences to those mentioned here.
