The VOLS haven't beat Georgia, " on the field, " in 5 years. The only question I still have is whether the Reggie Brown TD was a blown call or cheating. The replay clearly showed two feet in and a touchdown. The replay would have overturned the call in either case.

I'm not sure that we think there is a "conspiracy" but we just think we got screwed when other teams wouldnt have. you have to admit that after the UGA-AU game half of the media had us at #2 but they wanted to see a road win in a hostile environment(which we already had, at UT). we did that(bama). then they said we had to beat UT for the second time, and did that. then, after going 12-0, beating more top ten teams than either USC or Oklahoma(and we still had a stronger SOS rated by the NCAA even though that was the knock on us), and winning the sec championship all of those in the media that had us number 2 quickly changed their mind and put us at 3. I'm not saying that there is a conspiracy but the last two seasons the media has put USC up on a platform and now are saying that they are a dynasty(even though they almost lost like 5 games this season, some to crappy teams). they get screwed out of the NC game and still get a NC, we get screwed out when having a better season than they did they year before(and this season), and get nothing. its not fair when a team from california gets whatever they want and "that other team from alabama" doesn't when they do everything they can possibly do on the field. we know that a team was going to get screwed, but we got completely screwed.
What the hell are you talking about? I said it wasn't a big deal on this site if UT won the East or not.
A team whips your ass 4 of the last 5 years....wins the East twice and SEC.....and you are calling them over-rated? Come on, get a clue.... From 1992-2002....UGA was picked just once (1999 I think) to finish higher then 3rd.....they were never over-rated....
You have your own opinions......cool. I mean the media overrated them alot! They somehow managed to stay in the top ten and above us after we beat them at home. There were alot more deserving teams................... I guess they were not overrated to you since they kicked your butt last year, I forgot!
So what teams do you think were more deserving? Does getting the benefit of a blown TD call in the UGA game, getting the benefit of a referee blunder in the Florida game, or getting the benefit of a huge ball spotting mistake in the Mississippi game, equate to YOUR VERSION of a more deserving team? My advice.... Enjoy the current VOL ranking for as long as it lasts.
